Toyota tundra- Sc7862 Audio loss?

Have had this unit for a few years now, never have had an issue, til now. I’m not 100% sure if i changed a setting without knowing or what happened but when i have my music up loud (using carplay btw) there’s random times the audio will quiet down as if its trying to save my speakers? Other times it will play normal how i’d like it and then just randomly quiet’s down and goes back to normal after a few seconds. Happens multiple times during one song. Any ideas? Would it be the way i have my equalizer setup? I’m currently at a loss as i feel i’ve tried everything other than factory reset.
