Lexus GX470 - AC controls on screen not working

I Installed a 10.4 screen on my 2006 Lexus GX470. The on screen AC controls are not working. Everything else seems to be working as expected. I can turn AC on and Off by setting it to Auto with the physical buttons. Has anyone experienced this before, and do you have a solution for this?

I have had this issue since I installed mine a couple years ago. I figured it was just a bug and I actually prefer using the physical controls anyway, but just happen to be doing a little customizing and remembered those didn’t work and stumbled on this post. Any luck by OP or has anyone else?

Same here same issue described as above. 2006 GX470 here w/ nav physical controls work but touch screen no. Tested a new ac amplifier and that did not resolve issue. Also the original stereo amplifier has been removed.

I also have the same issue. I wish someone had a solution. Very frustrated.
