Hi all,

I’m hoping for some guidance to gain more access to the A/C controls on my 2004 Lexus GX470 (Navi w/Mark Levinson Sound System), please.

I purchased and had professionally installed a brand-new Phoenix [ G6 octa-core ] 10.4" Vertical Screen Android 11 Fast boot Navigation Radio for Lexus GX 470 2003 – 2009. However, even through I have selected “Prado HI” (and tried Prado LO) as the A/C protocol, I can only use the physical Auto & Temp Up & Down physical buttons, but these are actually operating the FAN by pressing Auto and the Temp Up Decreases the fan speed, while Temp Down Increases the fan speed. I have no control over Temperature OR direction that A/C is blowing – currently blowing through all 3 “modes” (windshield, dashboard vents and foot vents) and this is fogging up my front windscreen. Essentially, the screen does not function for or display any A/C information.

Phoenix’s support was useless, so I am desperate for any assistance. I wish I could just get Sergey’s firmware, but I have Android 11…

Included are the details of my head unit for ease of reference. Any guidance/help would be deeply appreciated as I am outside of the US and shipping back to Phoenix is not really an option.

Thanks in advance! 😊

I have the same problem. Support would not provide any firmware / software updates to resolve this and several other problems. Pretty much $1000 down the drain.
