balance and fade not functioning correctly
I installed the SC 7870 in my jeep gladiator, after installing the balance and fade function is not working properly. Sound Works when left in the center or when moving the fader/ balance to the front left, Audio is heard through all speakers. however if it is moved to the front right, right rear, left rear there is no audio. He also has poor audio quality. Is anyone else experience this and if so is there a wiring issue or is this controlled by software.

Re: balance and fade not functioning correctly
Had the exact same issue with my Grand Cherokee. The front and rear channels are swapped on the wiring harness.
In the factory amp settings, the fade and balance moved to the correct location. But in the DSP app, I had to move towards the back to get it to play in the front and to get the sub working. Putting it in the middle in DSP made most sound come from the rear.
This is because the channels are being fed to the amp with front and rear swapped. The amp uses the front channel for your tweeters and sub, and rear as filler. You're getting primarily the "filler" sounds that are intended to go to the rear speakers... but the head unit is telling the amp the rear channels are the front, so it sounds like garbage.

Swap 52 with 51, 50 with 49, 48 with 47, 46 with 45.
I bought a $6 depinning tool set from Amazon so you don't even have to cut anything. This 100% fixed my sound. Make sure you adjust the treble, mid, and bass in the Factory Amp app NOT DSP. In the DSP app, reset everything and it'll sound just like it used to.
