Rear screen not working. It lights up but won't show anything on the screen. What needs to be hooked up?

My understanding is that separate source (DVD player) has to be connected to RCA inputs to rear screen. Your HU did not come with DVD player integrated in the unit, correct? No manuals that I know of. Videos on Escalade install should be close.
