Mic issues in call

I have an Android 12 unit in my 2016 Ram and I have the OEM mic connected but on calls people complain that they can barely hear me. If I switch to the built-in mic, I get the same problem. I found an older video for a PX6 model showing to go into System Info and change a setting, but it appears that this menu is not available on my unit. Has anyone else had issues with this and found a solution?
