I was told the new PX6 flat screen for the 2018 Mustang base model Sync-1 would have the Outside Air Temperature posted on the top task bar of the unit at all times next to the Time.

How can I get the temperature to post on the task bar so I can see it?

This is a serious problem, because where I live the road conditions readily have extremely bad Black Ice, and I need to know the outside air temperature at all times!!!

Please help!!!

Not sure about Sync vs Sync3, but on my Fusion with Sync3, I just turn on Outside Temp in the settings of the PX6 and it displays at the top of the screen.  It might be a limitation of Sync though as that option may not be available on your car.

To show the Temperature go to Install Set. Use 8861 to access the General settings. Scroll down and turn ON the Display Temp.

Save and Reboot. If you don't do that it will go away next time you turn it back on.
